10-Aug-2021A great company, run by a very genuine & honest proprietor, NOT21-Jul-2021Once again, the owners of Soundlab Osborne Park have managed to delete my negative post, without resolving my complaint. This is the second time this has happened. This clearly demonstrates what an appalling individual Jarrod Silverlock is. Not prepared to resolve my complaint, & arranges to have my commentary lifted from his website. Gutless, & a true indication of what a total lack of respect he has for his customers.I urge you to boycott his store.18-Jul-2021In Nov-2020 I wrote a negative review on the website for Soundlab Osborne Park.This was after the failure of the owner, Jarrod Silverlock to satisfactorily resolve the appalling customer experience I had with his business.By his own acknowledgement, Soundlab Osborne Park were at fault.He offered me an upgrade on the amp I purchased as part of a total sound system.The offer was not because he & his firm had treated me so badly.It was conditional upon me removing my original Google review.I refused, simply because the offer was in the best interest of Soundlab Osborne Park, & not myself.Nothing more happened until Jun-2021.Jarrod posted a response to my original review, without making contact with myself.In the response, he failed to take ownership of complaint which is what would be expected of a business owner.Instead, he laid the blame on one of his staff who was relieving Jarrod, their main technician.I wrote a brief response in Jun-2021, expressing my complete disdain for Jarrod, & his attitude towards customer service.In Jul-2021, I went back & checked Soundlab’s website.Much to my surprise, both of my posts, & Jarrod’s response have been removed.Looks like he used the services of someone like Removify to have my review removed.Just thought I would provide another review to give prospective customers some insight into the way these guys operate.I have also included copies the original posts.Let’s see how long it takes for this post to disappear.09-Jun-2021I have no idea what prompted your response to my Google review, more than 6 months after my original post. What a handful of baseless statements & claims made by someone who states they are committed to customer service. If my complaint makes me your first dissatisfied customer, then you have a long way to go to suggest you have any idea how to deal with negative customer feedback.You failed to resolve my issues at the time. A simple apology, & acknowledge that your company was at fault would have been enough. You failed to provide any feedback until I posted.You have not disputed any of the claims in my original post. An apology was never forthcoming from your company. Instead, you offered to upgrade my amp. Whilst this was a wonderful gesture, it was only offered if I agreed to withdraw my original post. I would suggest that your company have more to gain from me withdrawing my original post than I would from an amp upgrade. Self-interest, perhaps?Finally, talk about throwing someone under the bus! Jason was your technician who attended my home. You are basically saying that your main technician (Jarrod) has far greater competencies than Jason, & could have fixed the problem. I don’t believe that it was Jason’s fault. What about resolving the issues raised, & supporting your staff?08-Jun-2021Response from the owner 14 minutes agoWe are sorry you have had a bad experience with Soundlab trying to resolve your fault and due to Jarrod our main Tech been overseas at the time of the fault we were unable to satisfactorily resolve your issue, and as you mentioned even sonos Australia were unable to remotely resolve the issue. We did offer to compensate you for the callout fees and you did not accept the offer. you are the first unsatisfied client in over 15 years of business and we are greatly disappointed we could not meet your needs in this instance. I was considering buying a Sonos speaker, after a visit to the Good Guys and Harvey Norman I decided I’d wait. Stopped into Soundlab out of curiosity and Alex not only had a FAR better price that the others, he provided an extremely thorough demonstration of the different units combined with unparalleled knowledge. He took the time to answer my questions and show me the finer points to make setup easy.Service that cannot be beat, I will for sure be back soon - Thank you Alex!

Just bought a playbase and sub, Absolutely fantastic service from the team (Justin and Hana). Great advise and an even better after sales service. Highly recommend them. If you are thinking a Sonos system forget everyone else and come here.

I recently purchased a Sonos Arc soundbar , Gen 3 subwoofer and a pair of surround speakers with Sonos amplifier for my new study from soundlab. Starting from qualified installer and the final tuned by Jason were excellent. I particularly like to listen to my favorite songs from Spotify and it sounds good and Dolby Atmos is also amazing for movies. Soundlab specialises in Sonos .

Alex was incredibly friendly and welcoming when I came into Soundlab! I came in just to have a listen and do some research on the Sonos Arc, Sonos sub and Play 1 sl as a wireless surround sound setup. Alex had the set up ready-to-go in minutes in a well thought out and impressive display. We watched a bit of the new Top Gun and then he let me play music from the latest album by Tool and was blown away by the performance by the sonos system. Alex was thorough with answering my questions about any system in store which was really comforting: honestly great service and I’ve worked in retail for more then 10 years so was really reassuring/good to see. Not pushy at all but just offered really good prices and if I was ready to buy and had the money at the time I wouldn’t of hesitated to make a purchase! Can’t recommend this store enough! 5 stars!

I have just purchased a Beam, Playbase, Move and 3 Play1 speakers from Soundlab. The experience my wife and I had in dealing with Hane was first class, She was very patient with a couple of oldies and a few times had to explain how they could be best set up in a new apartment that is being built.Just now they are in our house and we are loving the sound they produce. They were installed by Jarrod and he also was patient in showing us the operations..Overall everything was excellent in dealing with them and I most certainly highly recommend purchasing from Soundlab in Osborne Park

We included a multimedia upgrade in our home renovations and looked for a modern solution. We found a Sonos system was the best solution. Some suppliers would sell older generation products for a lesser cost. We settled on Soundlab for several reasons: They provided the latest technology, in-depth analysis of our requirements, full management of hardware and installation, transparent documentation of the entire process and commitment to customer support. Hane, Jason & Jarrod were most flexible, as there were various delays in the renovations, allowing installation to suit our needs. Soundlab will be my first part of call for any future sound and vision needs.

I received the best experience with Alex and his crew. Not only did they advise and sell me the right gear for my requirements, but they helped set it all up. The minute I walked into the Soundlab I had nothing but the best experience.I only knew the basics of what Sonos does. The lab is an amazing place to see, and probably most importantly HEAR the fantastic technology of Sonos. The best thing for me, however, were the guys in there with their exceptional knowledge and incredible help. Not only can they explain technology in a way that even I understand (wink), but they also set it all up for me.Prior to that I had been in touch over the phone. Already then, I received great help and advice from Jarrod, so I knew to bring my computer and external hard drive.I learnt so much more not only about Sonos, but generally about the set up of sound systems and how my hard drive works.When I went home, Jarrod from the sound lab spent a lengthy time on the phone with me, guiding me through setting up my remote control of TV to the new system. Mind you, the easiest in this procedure was setting up the Sonos system. It was literally plug&play, because it is straight forward, and because the guys from the lab had set it all up before hand.I can highly recommend the Soundlab as a place to check out the Sonos system, and especially the people that work there. Such great, professional bunch of people, who are passionate about this great system.

Alex went above and beyond to facilitate a last minute imperative project and I commend the professionalism and attention to detail the store offers. Definitely have a customer service to a fine art and the prices are competitive for a high quality store.Highly recommend
