HOYTS Cinema Karrinyup

Last night this cinema really disappointed me. The Aircon wasn't working and no one mentioned this before we went into the movie. Generally this place is good but recently the toilets and theatre has been really messy and not worth the premium they're charging. Hopefully they do something about the presentation of the cinema and fix the air-conditioning otherwise I won't return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I always go LUX when going to the cinema. We sat in the front row this time. It was a little too close for the screen. Next time, I won't sit closer than the second row. As always, the food was amazing. But this time, the popcorn was a little cold. Also, my straw started to unravel after only 5 minutes, so I can only assume it had been sitting in the drink for a little while before they brought it out. I got the BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pizza. It tastes divine, but it is very saucy, so make sure you open the napkin and wear it as a bib to protect your clothing. The mac and cheese balls are worth every cent! And the chocolate hazelnut ice cream is to die for. We saw the live action Little Mermaid. The sound quality was great, and if we were not so close, the picture quality would have been great, too. If there was a movie I really wanted to see and front row seats were the only option, I'd sit in them again. But I'd prefer 2nd row and beyond.

This cinema is the definition of what going to the movies should be like now, I came here to see the new Spider-Man movie and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The cinema is very modern with comfortable recliner chairs. The food and popcorn was also really good. I’ll definitely be back!

Was here for Lux 3D to watch Avatar. Place was clean, seat was comfortable and food selection was decent. A really good 3D experience. Could be a 5 star but the movie glitched for a good couple of minutes until someone came out to inform staff.

Amazing new cinemas. Huge screens. Great lean back chairs. You can bring your adult beverage into the movie and nice clean bathrooms. Only minor issue was the audio for the movie did suffer a little. But I'm definitely going back for another dinner (at the amazing restaurants close by) and a movie.

We took the kids to see Guardians of the Galaxy at Lux. Love this place. We think it out does Gold Class but that’s our opinion. Food was great. Service from the staff fantastic. Lux is our choice for the deluxe movie experience.

Definitely the Hoyts of the new generation; bright, friendly, modern and fresh. Went for the Lux and the venue is great. Clean, well maintained with great service. Dinner and movie taken care of in one go!

By far, my favourite movie theatre. The reclining seats were comfy and there was more than enough leg room. The massive screen and the comfort made the experience even more immersive. Perfect for when you want an escape from reality for an hour or two.

Great family trip to the movies to Lyle Lyle Crocodile. Nice new cinema with everything clean and well presented.Attended a D-Box session which was a cool novelty but would be awesome with a action movie.The biggest downside was no Coke (only Pepsi) and no pick and mix lollies (hangsell bags only)
